2006 Futurecom-TME driver Nicolas Kiesa has shown a great performance at the Nurburgring on Friday. The Danish driver made his DTM debut and was immidiatly the fastest driver in a 2004 car.

Apart from being the fastest 2004 driver he was also the most prolific driver of the entire field. After 90 minutes, he was less than one second slower than Frentzen's fastest time and occupied 16th place. On his first outing in the DTM, Kiesa completed a total of 297.578 kilometres on Friday.
